Indian Grass Ceramic Pendant
Approx 1.5" L x 1" W

Wife and husband, Cree Lahti and Kevin Stitzinger make jewelry that captures the amazing beauty of nature using earthenware clay. Together they find inspiration in the mountain environments of West Virginia, where they reside, and various vacation spots. Their jewelry is formed by pressing organic objects; such as leaves, flowers, shells, and grasses into clay, creating an imprint of precise detail. The design is hand-painted and fired, lending permanence to each unique composition. Their work is characterized by an emphasis on small delicate elements of nature that are otherwise easily missed by the casual observer.
Location: Arbovale, WV
