Rosa's Truth

 Once upon a time, in the far away and unheard-of state of West Virginia, lived a seventy-year-old woman. She had lived many of her years in contentment, knowing she was from an Italian immigrant family. The family had a story they told about their ancestors. Brave, noble people from a small village named after the family, Caserta, in Basilicata, Italy. The matriarch of the family was Angelica Caserta, mother of ten amazingly brilliant children. Each child emigrated to America at the tender age of fourteen. And they all lived happily ever after. Not exactly. Great-granddaughter Emma is a snoop, a family history-loving snoop of the best kind. She uncovers, discovers, explores, reads and questions everything. Our fairy tale has run amok. Angelica and Emma’s grandmother, Rosa, have passed away and are in the After Life. Emma, who knows she can talk to the dead, has been asking them questions. Consternation now rules Angelica and Rosa’s lives in the After Life. Gone is their undeserved peace and quiet as Emma continues to expose their lies, untruths, fabrications and deceptions. Can they face their lies in the After Life? Can they forgive the unforgivable? Will Emma ever know the truth? Rosa’s Truth explores their path toward freedom: truths told, damaged relationships healed, true loves reunited.

I am happiest when I am creating and surrounded by fabric, yarn, and paint!  I have created my own designs and have sewn since I was 5 years old.
