K. L. Welch

Hello, I'm K.L. Welch. I was born and raised in West Virginia. I am married with two grown daughters. I am a self- taught painter. I have always enjoyed painting and have also encouraged my daughters to express themselves through art.

Because of family obligations, school, and work I stopped working with my art for several years. One day, while sitting in my office, I looked out the window and the trees outside were filled with robins. One of my co-workers had a camera and she helped me take photos, I was inspired again and started painting.
