Brad Smith Center Campus Cutout

Made possible by a significant donation from alumnus and university President Brad D. Smith and his wife, Alys, the facility, which opened in 2024, was designed to foster collaboration between students, faculty, and the community. The center supports teaching, research, entrepreneurship, and business ethics, featuring modern classrooms, a finance lab, and workspaces to connect downtown Huntington with the university campus.

Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine's Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings.
