Corbly Hall Campus Cutout
When dedicated in November of 1980, it was the largest academic building in the West Virginia state system for higher education. The building was named for Lawrence J. Corbly, principal of Marshall College 1896 to 1907, and first president 1907-1915. During his tenure he significantly improved the student body size and the quality of the curriculum.

Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine's Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings.
