Drinko Library Campus Cutout
The Drinko Library at Marshall University opened in 1998 and is named for philanthropist John Deaver Drinko, a graduate and strong supporter of the university. The modern library, built to address the growing need for technology and study spaces, was constructed on the site of the demolished Northcott Hall, incorporating Northcott's 1915 stone arch entrance into its design. The facility combines traditional library services with advanced technology, computer facilities, and collaborative study spaces.
Printed on 2.75" tall x 4" wide x 0.5" thick wood.
Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine's Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings.
