Freshman North Campus Cutout

The First Year (FY) Residence Halls, known as North and South, were built for Marshall University freshman students and opened on August 22, 2008. These two four-story, co-ed buildings house approximately 782 students in double-occupancy rooms.

Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine's Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings.
