Not everyone gets all gushy over their love. That's alright, this card is for you.
This card was letterpress printed on a press from 1958 in Lancaster, Ohio. The image is printed from an original, hand-carved wood block combined with handset vintage letterpress type. It is printed on French paper (made in the USA) and packaged with a correlating envelope in an eco-friendly sleeve. Blank inside. It may only be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, but it's a little handmade piece of art for you to share.
Questionable Press is artist and printer Sarah Brown and a few tons of letterpress printing equipment. Sarah hand carves each image and pairs them with vintage hand-set type. She then prints them, one color at a time, in letterpresses from the 1940s and '50s. Using these methods, she makes greeting cards, posters, paper sculptures, and journals.
Sarah grew up in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Not only did her rural upbringing influence her subject matter, it gave her the can-do attitude that a letterpress printer needs to run antique printing presses. Find out more about her process at
