Robert Byrd Biotech Center Campus Cutout
This 200,000 sq ft, four-story facility opened in Jan. 2007. The complex united undergraduate and graduate students from the College of Science and medical school students, along with faculty and researchers. The first floor contains two auditoriums, teaching laboratories, lecture rooms and other research areas. The other floors have labs for biotechnology research, teaching and study spaces, seminar rooms, and faculty offices. It is named after US Senator Robert C. Byrd, who was a proponent of the project and got funding for its construction from the US Congress.

Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine's Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings.
