This Checkerboard Mug is perfect for the grandmaster in your life! The mug is painted with a checkerboard pattern and is square-shaped, just like a checkerboard! All hand thrown and glazed, each one is unique! Due to the nature of how they are made, there will be small variances from piece to piece.

I am a relative newcomer to pottery having started taking lessons in my early 50s.  Pottery has grown into a full-fledged passion.  I love the complexity of the process, from feeling the elasticity of the clay as you wedge to learning new techniques to create unique pieces.  My inspiration for many pieces comes from my connection to two mountain states, Colorado, my home state, and West Virginia, my adopted state.  ~Jennifer
