Green and White West Virginia Mug

Show your Marshall with this West Virginia mug in Marshall colors! Hand thrown with a speckled white clay. A wax relief is painted on in the shape of WV, then the mugs are dipped in blue glazes so the speckled clay shows through.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Mandee Wilson resides in Hurricane, WV with her husband Lenny. She received a master’s degree in Environmental Science from Marshall University and conducted research for 10+ years. After taking pottery classes from Homaira Khatun (Ahmed) at Arts and Thoughts Studio in Teays Valley, WV, and gaining a bunch of wonderful new lifelong pottery friends, she was totally hooked on the artform. You can usually see a bit of an environmental influence on her pieces.
