Bridge Buttress Winter Views

The expansive New River Gorge Bridge of West Virginia appears to nearly float in the foggy air viewed through a window of snow-dusted rock and pine.

My name is Jesse Thornton, a native of Point Pleasant and current resident of Huntington, West Virginia.  This state is truly an outdoor mecca with a variety of rich scenery, furnishing different looks throughout the four seasons of the year. Influenced by fantasy and science, my aim is to capture the surreal nature of these landscapes in hopes of encouraging others to discover (or rediscover) the beauty of West Virginia!
