Mug is hand thrown on the wheel using speckled clay. The handle is pulled and put on during the trimming process. Mug is fired, then glazed, then an iron oxide cicada is placed on the front and the mug is fired a 3rd time. This allows the iron oxide to melt into the surface of the glaze. Available in yellow and cream options, as well as two different cicada designs!
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Holds up to 12 oz. About 4 to 4.5 inches tall.
