Sandra "SoulAndra" Nichols Price was born in Edwight, West Virginia, in a small booming coal-mining camp in 1951. Sandra was the first in her family to go to college and receive a degree. After college, she worked for Union-Carbide/Chemical Companies for thirty-three years. Sandra eventually retired to care for her mother. During this time, she founded and managed an assisted living facility - Mama's Place, LLC. Sandra ran this facility for twelve years, with may fond memories of her mother and the other residents.
