From her earliest childhood memories, Ann Grimes has always had a fascination with painting and drawing. She graduated from Marshall University and served as an art instructor for more than 33 years. Now having retired, Ann focuses much of her energy into creating and exhibiting her own artistic creations. She specializes in fiber arts utilizing numerous weaving, felting, and stitching techniques to create a gamut of whimsical works. She also embraces the use of recycled materials in her pieces, a trait that pays homage to her parents and the lesson resourcefulness they taught he growing up.
